How do I exchange?
We've written some step by step instructions (with a cartoon to boot!) to help you get started.
How to exchange your used CDs, DVDs and video games for other merchandise:
- After you've decided which items you'd like to sell to Spun, get an instant price quote by going to the SELL tab on the top of any page. You'll need to locate the title and UPC code of the CDs, DVDs and video games you wish to sell us and then search our database for a match. First try entering the full twelve digit UPC. If that's unsuccessful, search by title. If you can't find a CD or DVD on our site, it could be out of print or from a small label and therefore we can't purchase it. (We're sorry, but we are currently only buying product which is already in our database.)
- If they're items we're interested in, we'll give you a real-time quote of how much we can offer in credit for your CDs, DVDs and video games. This price is based on our need for the particular titles and the current demand and can change from moment to moment.
- Once you've built credit in your shopping cart, you can use it to shop for new or used CDs, DVDs and video games.
- When you receive your order, simply use the prepaid label provided to you by Customer Service. At this time our label is only offered on orders from U.S customers, selling over 3 items. We will inspect your trade-ins, and, if they're in good condition, the value of your trade-ins will be subtracted from your order total or added to your Spun account as credit. You will have 30 days from the day your order ships from Spun until your trade-in product must reach our warehouse. (If you are only selling to Spun, you will need to find your own packaging, although we will reimburse your shipping charges if you use special 4th class mail, pack your items securely, and sell us at least 3 titles.)
Please note that larger orders may be authorized before shipping based on the discretion of our staff. They will however, not be charged if we receive your promised trade-ins.
