How do I add more items to my Spundex?
Right On! If you are checking out your Spundex, you'll see a link
called "Add Titles" at the top of the page. Really, that's just
a silly convenience for you that makes you think it's the only way.
The Spundex is a living, breathing beast which we have plastered
all over our site. You'll see the word's "Add To My Spundex" just
about everywhere. Click it, baby!
Where did all this stuff in my Spundex come from?
Either you ordered it from Spun OR you entered one of our contests!
Sometimes the Spundex knows who I am, but then it will STILL
ask me for my password. What's up?
Cookies are amazing things. Spundex knows the last person who visited
your particular machine, so it shows that collection. BUT what if
it's your kid brother trying to delete all your Spundex entries?
You wouldn't want that, now would you? That's why you have to give
your password in order to make changes to your Spundex. Better safe
than sorry!
How do I log out?
That link at the top will do the trick, the one that says, "soandso@youknowwhere.com
not your email?"! This is especially good to remember if you are
on a public machine.
Why is there a strange price next to all my Spundex entries
-- and what are the checkboxes for?
If you scroll down to the bottom of the Spundex page, you'll see
two buttons: Delete and Sell. That's where the check
boxes come in. You can select the check boxes next to your Spundex
entries and then in one SHOT -- POW! -- you can either delete those
selected, or add them to your shopping cart to sell to Spun (at
the aforementioned strange prices).
Why can't I add more than one copy of a CD or DVD title to
my Spundex?
Our Content Department gets quite upset when they find out that
our customers have more than one copy of a title that they haven't
sold to us. So, we decided we would just not allow you to have more
than one copy. Sell the other one to Spun -- TODAY!
Why doesn't the Spundex remove items that I have sold to you?
We don't like it when our software does the thinking for our customers.
You don't want it there... by all means, take it out. It's much
easier to delete things than add them.
Why doesn't the Spundex offer more for my CDs and DVDs? Those
are crappy prices.
The Spundex is basically telling you that there are 100 other people
that have sold us that same CD or DVD and nobody wants to buy it.
It was once a trendy, hot item with at least one single on the Pop
Charts and now...well, that same band is featured on VH1's Behind
the Music -- and that's the last of it!
The good news? If you want to know what's hot ... ASK THE SPUNDEX!
It knows all -- and the prices change as inventory (and what users
like you have promised to send us) goes up and down.
What is the "Music or DVD Collection Spun Value" based on?
Very important question. If you selected all the check boxes next
to all the items in your Spundex and clicked on the Sell button
at the bottom of the page, Spun would credit you the Spun Value
listed in your Spundex for all of your CDs or DVDs.
Can My Spundex Earn More?
Sure Can! The prices offered for the items in your Spundex are updated
regularly, just like the rest of the site. Put your whole collection
in the Spundex, make it
your home page, and watch the prices change as our inventory
does. When something hits a price that you're willing to sell at,
GO FOR IT!
What happens if I click on the link "Printable Version"?
Another groovy convenience for you! It takes everything in your
Spundex (Music or DVDs, depending on where you're at) and dumps
it onto one big...long...page that you can print out and admire
at your convenience.
What happens when you click on sort by > Artist, Title or
Price?
Not very experimental, are you?
How do I change my Spundex default to DVDs?
Spundex defaults to whatever you were last looking at, unless you
specifically log out.
Can I ask the Spundex questions about industry-related news?
Absolutely. Turn the audio volume on your computer all the way up.
Then, scream your question at your monitor. The Spundex will get
back to you via e-mail within 24 hours with answers.
Why are there a bunch of titles I don't own in my Spundex?
Looks like you entered one of our contests and supplied us with...
um... slightly inaccurate UPC numbers. Delete 'em and move on!
