How much do you charge for shipping and handling?
U.S. First Class mail shipping is just $1.99 plus $.99 per item. (So a one item order by 4th Class Mail is $2.98 shipping and handling.) Priority mail shipping is now $3.99 plus $.99 per item. (So a one item order by Priority Mail is $4.98 shipping and handling.) UPS Ground shipping is $4.99 plus $.99 per item. (So a one item order by UPS Ground is $5.98 shipping and handling.)
How long will it take to get my order?
Well, that depends. Most orders are boxed and delivered to the U.S.
Post Office in Chicago within three business days. But, of course,
it takes them some time to get your package to you. If you chose USPS
First Class Mail, please allow 1-2 additional weeks for delivery. If
you chose Priority Mail, please allow 2-4 additional business days
to receive your package. (At least that's what the USPS tells us!
We've had reports of much longer delivery times.)
It's been more than 2 weeks and I haven't received my order.
When do you consider packages "lost in transit"?
According to the Chicago Post Office (from which we ship all orders),
your Priority Mail package is considered lost after fifteen business
days. 4th Class Mail packages may take up to a month to arrive.
How do I change my account information?
Click on MY ACCOUNT in the navigation bar
at the top of any page, log in if you haven't
already, and correct any fields that need
to be changed. When finished, click on SUBMIT.
Your account information will be updated
for your next shipment.
I forgot my password. Can you help
me?
No problem. Click on MY ACCOUNT in the navigation
bar at the top of any page, and follow the
directions to receive a brand new password.
You can change this temporary password to
something that's easier to remember by visiting
the MY ACCOUNT page.
What is a "backorder"?
Items that go out of stock after they have
been ordered will appear on your packing
slip as "Item on Backorder." We've just
run out of that item and will have it in
stock within a few days. We will not charge
shipping and handling if a backordered item
is sent separately from other items. You
will only be billed once for shipping, and
we will not bill the purchase price of the
backordered item until it ships.
How do I make changes to my order?
Simply click on the DELETE button to the
left of each item in your shopping cart
to remove it from your current order. You
have many opportunities to do this before
your final checkout, so don't worry if you
change your mind during an order.
What if one of the items I ordered
isn't available? Do you credit my credit
card for the cost of that item?
We never charge for an order until it's
been made as complete as possible. If an
item needs to be canceled from the order,
we'll change the order total BEFORE we charge
your card. You'll always be notified via
email when this happens.
Do you accept international orders?
Although we currently cannot accept orders
from outside the U.S., we are taking the
necessary steps to update our shipping procedures,
and we're hoping to be ready to ship internationally
in the next few months. Check back for any
updates. We do look forward to seeing you
real soon!
I'm trying to find out when and if
an order I recently placed was shipped.
How do I go about doing this?
We will send you a shipping confirmation
just as soon as your order goes out!
I just placed an order and didn't
receive an email confirmation. Does that
mean my order didn't go through?
In some cases, yes -- but not always. Please contact our Customer
Service Department if you haven't received an email within ten
minutes of placing your order. Our customer service reps are always
able to determine if your email confirmation somehow was skipped,
or if your order just plain didn't go through.
I placed an order earlier today and
then went back and placed ANOTHER order.
Is there any way to combine the two so that
I only incur one shipping charge?
The answer to this really depends on your first order's stage of completion.
Frequently, if you place the second order on the same day as (or better
yet, within a few hours of) your first order, then it's not a problem.
We do ask that you contact our Customer Service
Department immediately after placing your second order. After
looking into it, we can determine if it's possible to merge the two
orders. If it is, we'll get back to you with your new order totals;
if not, we'll let you know that as well.
I'd like to return something that
I bought as part of my last order. How do
you handle this?
We completely guarantee all the merchandise we sell against defects.
If you are unhappy with one of the items we sent you, contact our
Customer Service Department and let us
know the reason. We'll then get back to you with a Return Merchandise
Authorization (R.M.A.) as well as the necessary instructions for returning
the item. Please note that we can only cover handling and/or shipping
charges if the return is the result of an error on our end or a defective
item.
I recently heard a song on the radio,
but didn't catch the name of the song or
the artist. Is it possible for you to help
me find it?
First, try checking out our music section's Radio
Playlist. If you can't find the song there, your next best bet
is to try contacting the radio station where you heard the song. As
a last resort, it's possible that a few lyrics and a description of
the music might help our team of experts track it down for you. Keep
in mind that, in almost all cases, a song title (or approximation)
can go a long way. Regardless, feel free to contact our Customer
Service Department with whatever information you may have. |
