Privacy Policy Spun.com has created this statement to demonstrate our commitment to privacy and security. The following discloses Spun.com's Information Usage and Collection Practices. Scope Although completing transactions on Spun.com is currently limited to residents of the United States, this privacy policy applies to all site visitors, regardless of their nation of residence. Security This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Passwords and orders are collected through and stored on secure servers. Paper records of financial transactions are stored in a locked facility. Operator Information Periodically, Spun.com discloses its members' contact information to vendor partner Flonetwork to deliver targeted emails to our users. This disclosure is limited to email addresses. We do not disclose additional information, including real names or home addresses. Spun.com shares a member's contact information with an affiliated radio station ONLY when a member has registered through that radio station's site. Such information includes member first and last names, billing and shipping addresses, day and evening phone numbers, date of birth, credit card numbers and email addresses. We collect this information when members complete registration. Additionally, Spun.com utilizes "cookies" to track our members through their user sessions, collecting information on user tastes and preferences. This information is not sold or shared with others, and is solely used to provide Spun users with a better online experience. Spun.com does not use cookies to track user activities beyond their use of Spun.com's service. Spun.com does not and will not sell customer information to any third party. Registration: Our site registration form requires that users provide us with contact information, including their name, home address, and email address; billing information, including a credit card number; and demographic information including zip codes and birth dates. The following describes the means by which Spun.com uses personal information gathered on our site: Electronic Newsletter Mailings: Spun.com uses a member's email address for electronic newsletter mailings. Spun.com maintains a member mailing list and sends a site newsletter via email. Spun.com uses an external email vendor partner for this purpose. Advertising: Spun.com does not use external advertising companies to display ads on Spun.com. Spun.com's Disclosure Practices As noted above, in certain circumstances, Spun.com discloses personal information of our members to third party radio stations and our email vendor Flonetwork. Spun.com shares a member's contact information with an affiliated radio station ONLY when a member has registered through that radio station's site. Flonetwork will use the personal information to deliver the company newsletter to our member base. External vendors have not agreed at this time to keep this information confidential or secure. Spun.com does not warrant that once disclosed, this information will be used for its intended purposes. Choice/Opt-Out Our site provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications at any time. Requests for opting-out of mailings should be sent to our Customer Service Department.
